As mentioned in my latest article on Taxe Fonciere des Entreprises, the Govenment has confirmed that all auto-entrepreneurs will benefit from a CFE tax exemption for 3 years. This will therefore still apply to you if you have declared a turnover in 2010 and whether or not you have opted for the income tax paid at source.

The FEDAE, a national association representing auto-entrepreneurs, has published 3 sample letters to send to impots, in order to cancel the tax or get a refund. Here is a link to the FEDAE’s article and sample CFE letters, go to “Fichiers attaches” down the page:

  • Courrier Impôts exoneration annee creation - letter if this is your first year in business
  • Courrier Impôts exoneration ca positif - letter if you have declared a turnover
  • Courrier Impôts exoneration ca nul - letter is your turnover is nil
