FEDAE, the auto-entrepreneurs' federation, has confirmed that all auto-entrepreneurs will benefit from a CFE tax exoneration in 2013. Contribution Foncière des Entreprises (CFE), formerly called taxe professionnelle, is a small tax payable by any business to local authorities (collectivités locales).

A little background. In 2009 the government agreed to give a 3 year exoneration to auto-entrepreneurs who opted to have income tax paid at source. This exoneration was then extended to all auto-entrepreneurs and then renewed in 2012.
