Gerard Dramanin, Minister of Action and Public Accounts announced on 31st March that the launch of the French income tax declaration campaign is postponed for ten days. We should have declared our 2019 income from 9th April 2020, but we will do so from 20th April 2020. Paper declarations will have to be returned by 12th June, while online declarations will have to be completed between 4th or 11th June depending on the department you live in.

This can only be done if you already have a French income tax number called numéro fiscal. You will find this number on your attestation de revenu 2018, if you completed an income tax form last year. Or you may have requested a numéro fiscal from your tax office when you arrived in France.
