I am an auto-entrepreneur and until recently have been living and working in France. I have just started a new contract in Brussels which will run until at least June 2018. Due to the 183 day rule. I have to register with the Belgian authorities and pay Belgian tax from January 2018. I will be making a declaration to URSSAF in January 2018 for the French income earned in Q4 2017.
My primary residence is in France and will remain so indefinitely. How does this affect my auto-entrepreneur status, quarterly income declarations to URSSAF in 2018 and healthcare status in France for each of these two scenarios?
- I finish working in Belgium at the end of June 2018, after 8 months, and work in France for the rest of 2018.
- I extend my contract and remain Belgian tax resident until the end of 2019.
Also, what would I need to do in terms of informing French authorities?
