Which structure is best for setting up a shop?
I want to register a business as a shop selling furniture, gift items, artwork, and with a book-swap. I would be looking to expand via the internet and hopefully also sell online. I would like my husband to work with me - he is already auto-entrepreneur but prepared to finish this. The building I already own but we are currently undertaking lots of work there to be able to open the shop, hopefully in late spring this year. I do not believe, at least initially, that the profit margin on sales would be very large either. I for-see small profits initially, hopefully increasing within a couple of years.
Regarding expenses of the renovation work - what sort of costs would be allowed as expenses, does it have to be artisans who do the work? In order to offset at least this year’s expenses, and to include us both, could you advise on the best way to register?
