Advantages/disadvantages of listing a collaborator on a business?

Hope you’re well! I have a question following on from our recent call.
Our context: Will is registering our gite business in his name as sole proprietor and I will set up a separate business for my marcomms work in my name. So we will have a business each as you advised.
Question:
On INPI, Will has listed himself as sole proprietor for the gite business and listed his details under the ‘Entrepreneur’ section. Under the ‘Spouse’ section, should I be listed as a ‘collaborateur’ or ‘aucun’? (I will be helping with some of the day-to-day running of the business.) What are the tax implications for these options?
