Advantages of auto entrepreneur versus SASU with new 2018 changes
Hi Valerie
With the new turnover limits for the auto-entrepreneur coming in 2018, can you imagine a scenario where it would be better to be an AE than a SASU business, from the financial/fiscal point of view, assuming:
- Small SASU business with income below Euro 50k
- No salary paid (all paid out in dividends)
- There are some expenses (‘cost of goods sold’)
I imagine, with the auto-entrepreneur that the tax is higher than having a SASU if the President is liable to the incorporation tax Impot sur les Societes (IS). AE - no expenses allowed (well not as such), but no accounting fees, no need to have a registered address/office.
There is also the less-stress/less-hassle aspect of being an AE rather than a SASU, but let’s focus on financial aspects.
Are there some other aspects of SASU vs AE I haven’t mentioned?
What do you think? How can I calculate that? do you know of any simulator?
