Am I a new business or an existing one?
I have just moved to France and have an existing website business selling mp3 downloads and also receive advertising revenue. I intend setting up a French website. I need to declare my existing income, but am starting a new French website, so am I a new business or an existing one? My start date, I intended putting start date as day I arrived in France, is retrospective for existing business, does this have any implications? I’m not sure how to describe my business - none of the options seems to cover it.
I don’t yet have any insurance. For health, my husband has the UK S1 forms and we hope to be able to get a carte vitale, but I don’t have one yet, and therefore cannot answer the question about insurance. I would be grateful for any advice.
