Auto-entrepreneur dedicated bank account?

I’ve had an auto-entrepreneur business for over 4 years and have never had a dedicated bank account. I have an appointment at my bank to get a basic personal checking account set up. I will then deposit my auto-entrepreneur earnings moving forward.
- I won’t have a credit card for it, just a checkbook. Is that okay?
- Some of my clients pay me in cash. I declare this and pay charges and taxes on it, but sometimes I never deposit it, as I just use it for errands, shopping, etc. Do I now have to deposit it first?
- I have several things set up to be automatically deducted from my old checking account and my only credit card is linked to my old account. Once I’ve deposited my auto-entrepreneur earnings into my new auto-entrepreneur account, can I then transfer money to my old account to help pay for all my expenses? If so, how quickly?
- Do you recommend back-depositing to January 1st? Meaning, calculate the amount of income I’ve earned in 2015 and transfer the full amount from my other accounts into my new auto-entrepreneur account?
- Should I update my direct deposit info on URSSAF so they now withdraw my charges from my new auto-entrepreneur account?
