My husband is registered as an auto-entrepreneur with me as his conjoint. Whilst applying for a carte de sejour last week our prefecture wanted to see business receipts ie: stationery, pens, etc. We explained that we do not have receipts as most of our work is computer based. My husband makes on-site visits to clients and uses their facilities ie: pens, paper etc.
As an auto-entrepreneur we know we can’t claim any expenses ie: petrol, stationery - is that still correct and if so is there any information we can print off to show the prefecture that as an auto-entrepreneur you’re not required to keep receipts. They refused our requests for CDJ on the basis we couldn’t provide business receipts.
