Auto-entrepreneur or micro?

We have two businesses, both are registered as auto-entrepreneur and both will generate less than the limit. I am a computer programmer and write programs for one customer in the UK. My wife has a gite rental business.

For myself, I am paying 21.?% on turnover but I have zero overheads so I think AE is correct. Except, I’m not sure if I am registered correctly and whether I have a profession libre so should pay less. There was a lot of confusion over what I actually did.

For my wife, there are overheads, electric. water, cleaning etc. In the UK, all these would be taken into account before any taxation. If she became a micro, I beleive she would pay monthly cotisations and then somehow things would get sorted out later but I don’t know the ins and outs and our accountant is frankly useless.
