Best bank for micro-entrepreneur making and receiving non-euro payments
I have searched previous questions on this topic, but none of them are that recent. I am looking for a bank account for my ME (non-regulated profession libérale) activity that provides a French IBAN but that doesn’t charge a fortune to make or receive payments in non-euro currencies.
I will have clients making bank transfer payments to me in non-euro currencies (mostly GBP, perhaps sometimes USD).
I will also have regular payments out of the account to pay for things like Google Workspace, my website and domain name. These payments will be a mixture of euros, GBP and USD.
Wise tends to be the most-recommended for a multi-currency account, but has a Belgian IBAN, which sometimes causes issues. From a VAT perspective I will probably meet the threshold for it, but I am providing B2B services outside the EU so no VAT will be payable. So a Belgian IBAN might be okay.
Does anyone have any recommendations for any other banks (probably an online one) for my scenario?
Thank you
