Can I reclaim TVA on gite building work?

My partner and I are planning to convert an old farmhouse into two gites and it has been suggested to us that we should set up a company and have the work done through this so we can reclaim the TVA on building work. In other words, set the company up with the building as an asset, carry out the refurbishment work and claim back the TVA then close the business down.

It sounds too simple to be possible but can anyone provide advice if it is feasible? Would the amount of capital gains tax outweigh the TVA saved? Building work is expected to be in the region of €150k. Once complete, I’d register as an auto entrepreneur run the gite business.
