Can I stop trading as a SAS and start an auto-entrepreneur company?

I work as a maintenance contractor on a private holiday site and as part of the terms and conditions I set up a société par actions simplifiée (SAS) company in France. I am a one man business and find the social charges crippling and made a loss last year. I understand that I will have to pay to close the company down, but wanted advice as to whether I could:
- Keep the company name?
- Startup the auto-entrepreneur straight away?
- As an Artisan, how would I be able to register a general maintenance company, i.e. looking after/repairing mobile homes (no electrics)?
