Can I use the same space for various designations ? –  And can I employ contractors ?

I’m in the early stages of setting up as a micro-entrepreneur.
I have a big barn/ studio space in France. Along with an apartment which is attached.

The barn is a very flexible space, and I’m proposing to use it for a few designations under the micro-entrepreneur status ( including Airbnb/gite) but primarily I want to use it to provide creative courses.

The courses would run for up to one week with customers staying in gites and hotels around the village and coming to the barn/studio each day.

I intend to use self-employed tutors/contractors to run the courses – some of whom will be local and others working under their own visa arrangements.

On some occasions, I would like to rent out the barn/studio space to independent self-employed tutors to run their own courses.

On other occasions, I want to let the space out as an Airbnb/writers retreat.

Questions

1. Can I use the same space for various designations i.e – art courses, gite/Airbnb/writers retreat?

2. As a micro entrepreneur can I employ ‘contractors’ i.e., cleaners, art teachers, cook for lunchtime meals, taxi operators etc without falling foul of any legal employment rules?

3. Can I let the barn space out to independent self-employed tutors to run art courses?

4. Can Micro-entrepreneurs use an online bank such as ‘wise’ as their main business account ?

5. If I can employ contractors – how long can they provide a service for and can it be on a regular basis ?

6. Finally, if I do not run courses until June 2025– but want to be able to take bookings and lock in tutors time before then. What is the best timing to apply/register as a Micro entrepreneur.

Thank you

Paul
