Change APE code and add secondary business activity?

My husband’s APE is out of date (63.91Z) and we need to send a correction along with a request to add an activity. As a designer, should his APE be 74.10Z? And to add painting workshops and classes, what would that code be? Would we do this by letter to URSAFF or the chambres de commerce et d’industrie (CCI)?
