Changing business activity from profession liberale to commerciale?

I have created my business with a primary activity that is profession liberale and a secondary activity which is commerciale. In reality, I expect income from both to be about the same and could just have easily done this the other way round.

I am currently registered (SIRET, tax office, pension) but have problems with RSI and hence my organisme sante has not received my file. As a profession liberale, I have to deal with RSI Profession Liberales Provinces based in Paris - very inconvenient as I live near to Nice. I am seriously thinking about whether it would be easier to change my business activity to commerciale, so that I would relate to RSI through the local office in Nice.

Do you think that this is possible?
Do you think it would make dealing with RSI easier?
