Confirming a classification code for selling local products in France?

I have set up as an auto-entrepreneur for my chambre d’hote business in France, but as an aside, my husband plans to set up his own auto-entrepreneur business which will involve selling local products to guests, e.g. cheeses, charcuterie and maybe wine. Having looked at the codes I narrowed it down to either:

  • 47.11 Retail sale in non-specialised stores with food, beverages or tobacco
  • 47.99 Retail trade not in stores, stalls or markets

What do you think? Also, with any of these categories, would he have to comply with any particular regulations, or apply for any licences, e.g. like the carte du commerçant ambulant required for selling at markets - but he won’t be selling at markets. I have looked into the details required for debits de boissons, so it’s more the food side that I have a query over.
