Declaring auto entrepreneur income
I opted for Mensuel des cotisations when setting up my auto entrepreneur.
I provide online tutoring through a tutoring website, where student prepay the website in advance, choose their tutor, take the lesson. Then at the end of the lesson, the money for that lesson (minus the website’s cut) is put into an ‘online wallet’ on the website. I then need to request that money, which is paid into a payoneer account (in USD) after about 10 days wait, and then I transfer from payoneer into to my bank account, which takes another 3-5 days. Transfers into payoneer cost $2 and transfers out also have a small fee, so I am not keen to make transfers until a sufficient sum has built up. I am also subject to currency fluctuations because I ‘earn’ in dollars but the rate at the time of lesson is different from the rate at withdrawal.
Given this, I am not sure when or how to declare my income. As I don’t receive the money until I ‘cash out’, is this the point I earn the money? If not, when do I and how should I go about recording my income in accordance with monthly cotisations?
