Do I declare work done or income received to URSAF?

I registered as an auto-entrepreneur a couple of months ago. I am doing some proofreading work for a local company and also some private English lessons. I am a bit confused as to what I declare to URSAF as often when I invoice the company for the work it can be 2-4 weeks before I get paid which means the payment is in the next month. Please could you clarify do I declare the work which I have done or the income I have actually received?
