Do I need a teaching qualification to teach English?

I have been approached by a number of families who are interested in sending their child to stay with me and my (Anglophone) family for a week at a time in order to improve their English. I would give English tuition too. I am currently working as an English assistant in 4 primary schools, paid by the relevant Academie, and on a voluntary basis for my local primary school. My paid contract ends at the end of April.

Do I need to have a recognised teaching qualification in order to offer tuition from home? What is the best way to set myself up in order to offer short stays under my roof, bearing in mind it will be very seasonal work - possibly only 2 or 3 weeks over the 10 week summer school holidays. Can the parents use the CESU system to pay me?
