I’m trying to find a document that I can provide to the US when I file my US taxes that proves I pay into the system here in France, thus I do not need to pay into the Social Security system in the US and would be taxed twice. I’ve been on the RSI website and the net-enterprises website, but since I didn’t pay online, there is no document there to download.
The document needs to have the following information:
- U.S. and/or French social security number
- Nature of self-employment activity.
- Dates the activity was or will be performed.
- Name and address of your trade or business in both countries.
- If you are requesting a certificate from the United States, a statement certifying that you, and any family members who live with you in France, are covered by a private health insurance plan while in France.
Any help on who in France to contact for this is greatly appreciated.
