Domicilation rules, costs and benefits for auto-entrepreneurs

I’ve seen some threads about domiciliation and self-empoyment, but they’re quite old and I suspect things have changed over the years.

Could you outline the current rules, costs, and advantages and disadvantages of domicilation vs using a home (rental) address as a business address? (When I ask about costs I mean tax costs, etc, not the domicilation fees themselves).

I work online from home.
