Email from Inspecteur des finances publiques in Paris?
I’ve had an email from Jean-Pierre KHOURY Inspecteur des finances publiques Service des impôts des entreprises du 17ème ardt. de Paris.
It’s headed majCFE / Service des Finances Publiques du 17ème Ardt. de Paris - Réponse rapide souhaitée and opens Bonjour, je vous envoie un mail concernant la Cotisation Foncière des Entreprises. It then names a company in Paris, with a different SIREN number to mine (I’m based in Limousin) and asks a number of questions about premises, when I moved in, how big they are, etc. It looks like they’ve mistakenly attributed my email address to this other company, or is it a scam of some kind? The email address that it’s from looks genuine and there are no other links in the body of the email. How should I respond?
