EORI registration?

I have registered a business in France and have a SIRET number. But recently I was sent this message by DHL, the parcel delivery company, who are holding a parcel in customs.

Votre SIRET n’est pas enregistré EORI (Economic Operator Registration and Identification) – il faut le valider auprès d’un bureau de douane

Can you advise me on whether I need to do this, and how to do it… online if possible?
