I am a fiction writer working in cinema and as a novelist. My producer and agent are based in the UK, and London is where all contracts do and will originate. However, I live permanently in France. I was wondering if you could advise me what is the appropriate structure for an annual turnover of 50,000 euros to 100,000 euros?
I have the option of setting up a company in the UK (which could own title to my work) and receiving some form of occasional, non-salaried payment of a lower amount; the company would then hold the balance for investment in its stated activity. I was wondering if you have a view on that?
