First year tax benefits

We are poised to register our French business and need to decide the best point for us to do so. Could you advise on two related things.

  1. We understand there are startup tax benefits in terms of workshop use, which we are using our barn for. Could you advise what they are which leads to:
  2. Are they applied for twelve months or the remainder of the financial year we are currently in?
  3. And finally are there any other benefits that might influence wether we register now or in January?
