Foreign business and hiring myself while in France?

My wife and I run a part time business in another European state. We will be living in France for a few years.

  1. What legal paperwork does our company have to do in France in order to hire us (as company directors) in order to pay ourselves a small salary?
  2. Are company tax and social security contributions percentages calculated on the salary amount?
  3. Where can we find English information on the taxes and social contributions that our company and we personally have to pay? Where can I calculate that online?
  4. What reporting is required personally in order to receive a salary?
  5. I have also registered as an auto-entrepreneur, as I do side jobs to make ends meet. Will being hired with a salary interfere with that?
