How do I pay tax on a short contract in the UK?

I am resident in France and have been for over a year. I am tax resident and filed a tax return for 2012. I have not been working during this period, although I do receive rental income from the UK on which I paid tax in the UK (and declared it in France). I am covered for healthcare on an S1 from the UK until the end of this year.

I am currently doing 6 weeks IT consultancy in the UK. What is the best way for me to structure a company either in the UK or France to pay the tax on this work? I may do something similar next year, I am not sure as it depends on what work I am offered. Ideally I would like to be paying correct social charges to get health cover in France. However, if it would be cheaper to pay only UK tax and get private healthcare cover maybe that would make more sense. Or perhaps there is the possibility of a workers S1 where the UK would continue to pay my cover. I don’t think I will not earn enough to pay full NICs though.
