How do I start a business in France as a commercial sales agent?

I am an American who just moved back to France with my French/American wife and French/American son (4 years old). I am commercial sales agent in the Telecom space. I have a long stay work visa. I am interested in setting up an auto entrepreneur or micro entreprise. I need detailed explanation of the current tax and social service contribution requirements. What is the best way forward for us? As an independent contractor, I have multiple clients however the majority of my revenue comes from two companies I sell for, the majority comes from one. I will be representing more companies in the near future, I just haven’t found any great products out there, yet. My client base is currently 10 different VOIP companies.

Am I considered an agent commercial?
Do I qualify for micro-entreprise or auto entrepreneur?
If yes or if no, what is best for my situation?
What are my current tax and social service contribution requirements on a hypothetical 80k a year?
