I would like to set myself up as auto-entrepreneur (micro-enterprise) business in France, Managing properties in Serre Chevalier. I would be doing simple management and maintenance of properties for a number of different clients. I will be undertaking routine maintenance, gardening, labouring, cleaning etc.

What is the best way to set up this business here in France?
Which departments in France do I need to register with?
