I’m an Auto-entrepreneur and my carte vitale has stopped working, what should I do?

I was nicely installed in the ‘system’ as my husband is employed and had me down as an ayant droit with the mutuelle working well. I signed up as a AE last year and effectively my carte vital has stopped working this April.

I am registed with RSI of course but have received no new attestation for health care from them. I effectively seem to have disappeared from the CPAM system. When I went to the CPAM office the woman behind the desk basically kept the carte vitale and said go and speak with the RSI! I thought that you now kept a carte vitale for life and it was just updated - now I effectively have no health care again but my husband is paying the same contributions. The kids thank goodness are still covered by his social security number.

I do remember that I did have to fill in a form selecting a mutuelle de soleil but hearing nothing since - what should I do contact RSI? I earn’t nothing last year but have earnt something this year.  I am micro enterprise simplifiee / AE I believe is there statutory amount I would need to pay?

I also have a E106, would I be able to go back to CPAM and reinstate my rights using this form, or is it best to go down the RSI route to set up the health care, I guess I will need to pay for my mutuelle - what do you suggest.
