Invoicing in £ with a French business

Hi, I have a UK client that would like to pay in £. I have a business Wise £ bank account so I can share those details with them and then transfer into my French account, but I’m not sure what to send on the invoice.

Should it be in £ and then I reference the € value in the description, something like “Services for XXX: €XX,XX” or do I send them an invoice in Euros and in the accompanying email let them know the £ amount to pay?

I remember reading something about there being a fixed conversion fee for invoicing in a different currency - please could you let me know where I find this?

Thank you
