Is sick leave covered by healthcare as an auto-entrepreneur?
When you declare your business turnover in France, it is gross, without any abatement? The reason I ask is because I have broken my foot and enquired with my insurance company about any cover for this and they tell me that I have to be officially on sick leave. Having no idea if sick leave is covered by French health care when you are under auto-entrepreneur, I did a google search and came across this on sick leave entitlement:
Dans le cas de l’auto-entrepreneur, l’indemnité journalière sera calculée en fonction du chiffre d’affaire avec abattement forfaitaire du régime micro BIC (71% en cas de vente de marchandise, 50% en cas de prestations de services BIC, 34 % en cas de prestations de services BNC).
Yet if we declare the gross turnover without abattement, it’s not very logical?
