We live in France, but my husband works during the week in the UK so we have another source of income - though it is generated in the UK. We have been advised to set up our gite business by registering with the Chambre de Commerce as we have done - is this correct
Could we have done it differently so that the gites are a secondary source of income and thereby not attract social charges? Perhaps it does not apply as our primary source of income comes from the UK? Is it too late to change it if necessary?
