Opening a business bank account in France?

I’m just in the process of setting up as an Auto-Entrepreneur business here in France. For this I would like a business bank account in my company name; primarily because I will be doing some IT work for a large UK company while in France and they don’t like invoices from individuals.I went to see my bank, CA, and it all got a bit complicated.

Firstly because I’ve up till now been mainly working in the UK. I had one short term contract in France Last summer and I’ve not yet filled in a tax form. As far as the bank is concerned I’m not resident until I’ve done one (May). Secondly, I think I need to employ an accountant to create some kind of business plan?

I don’t want any kind of overdraft and naively thought that when I get my siret number through I would be able to simply pay my 15E each month and open one. Do I have this right and does anyone have any experience of setting up a business account and what paperwork is required / good Banks to go to?
