Opening an auto-entrepreneu account when overdrawn

I am overdrawn on my French bank account and the bank manager says I can’t open an auto entrepreneur account until I am back in credit (which may take a while). Can I set up a bank account in the UK to keep just the auto entrepreneur business or does it have to be a French account. Can I just go to another French bank or will they chat to each other and I still can’t open an auto entrepreneur account or do you think they won’t check other accounts?
