Receiving overseas passive income from previous business

We presently live in the Cayman Islands and run a small self-employed business, working totally online. When we move to France the websites will continue to earn us revenue passively every month even if we don’t do any further work on it. People will still visit them, advertising revenue and affiliate commission will still be generated, potentially for years to come. It’s like a residual income from a business we no longer work on. It would most likely be our most significant source of income.
Is there some way to enter this sort of non-working passive overseas income on the French tax returns?
Or do we have to register it as a French business even though we’re not working?
Thanks
