Recognised qualification needed for decorating work in France?

I will be setting up as an auto-entrepreneur business in France as I intend to do a small amount of decorating works once we move to France. Do I need proof of qualifications?

I have City & Guilds certificates from 1975 and a have been a qualified profession decorator since then.
