Registering for a numero fiscale

I became tax-resident in France on 1st May this year with the start of my MicroEnterprise and moving in to our new home. Whilst I have a professional registration with Impots, I do not yet have a personal account and a numero fiscale.
Question 1: For our department (46), did we inadvertantly miss our first household declaration due on 31st May ?
Question 2: My wife hopefully will also be setting up her Micro Entrepreneur soon. Should we register (using cerfa Form 2043 ?) now, or wait until she becomes active with her own Micro Entrepreneur?
