Regulations for teaching English to children in my home?

My goal is to set up a business here in France where I teach small children, from three or four upwards, English. I would like to give the courses in my home with my husband who will be helping out. I plan to have eight children maximum in a group. I thought about initially using the auto-entrepreneur status as I don’t project earnings over 33,000 euros.

Can I have auto-entrepreneur status and use my home to teach the children? How can I find out if the Coproprieté of my building allows this activity? Is this activity regulated in France. Do I have to declare something to the Marie, Prefecture or another body? Does the apartment need to be officially inspected to be sure that it is safe?
