Rejected primary business activity in France
Two weeks after submitting my application to become an auto-entrepreneur in France and having received notification of a siret number and other correspondence from different bodies I have received the following e-mail from URSSAF.
Nous avons bien reçu votre déclaration auto-entrepreneur à compter du 1er février 2010 pour une activité activites comptables. Vous voudrez bien effectuer par internet une modification de votre activité car elle est considérée comme une activité d’expert comptable et n’est pas elligible au statut auto-entrepreneur. Vous devez redéfinir l’intitulé de votre activité.
My intention was to offer bookkeeping services and basic administrative advice to other small businesses. I only wanted to do this on a part-time basis and wanted to do so legally. What is the APE code for a bookkeeping business in France?
