I am thinking about leaving my current part-time job in France to focus on my business. I have a CDI contract and have been talking to my employer about possible options. They mentioned Rupture Conventionnelle and something about them giving me a lump sum of money, and then I’d be able to get 70% of my current wage through unemployment benefits even as an auto entrepreneur for up to one or two years.
- What exactly does Rupture Conventionnelle mean?
- Does this information sound accurate?
- Could I get this benefit with a SARL or another status?
- Are there funds or benefits that my business partner and I may be entitled to if in the beginning we struggle financially? For housing, living costs etc.
