I have been told that apparently, it is not a legal requirement to have an Expert Comptable for a SASU. As the president I am responsible for making sure all the paperwork etc is done correctly anyway. And in case of an audit - it’s also my responsibility to provide all the necessary documents. I can use software (e.g. SAGE) to keep records of all my accounts and do the tax declaration at the end of the year and filing to the GREFFE and tax office myself.
Is this correct?
And if it is correct, what is the risk of not using an EC, assuming the use of software to ensure all invoices, VAT, taxes etc are paid; and all the appropriate paperwork done at the end of the year?
