Setting up a Corian fabrication company in France?

I manufacture worktops from acrylic material. Normally I would use either Corian or Krion. The raw material, corian is produced by DuPont and Krion by Porcelanosa who have retail outlets throughout France. Depending on how the material is being used can alter how we go about the project. If for instance it is being used in a domestic kitchen for a kitchen worktop I will explain the process.

Visit to client’s home to take sizes or make a template of the shape of the room. The template is then taken to our workshop where it is used to cut and shape the Corian to the desired shape. The cutting and shaping is carried out in a set up similar to a joinery workshop. A kitchen would normally take one week to make. Once the surface is made it is taken back to the client’s home to fit. This process takes about 4 hours to stick and bond the sections together. The joints are then polished out so the joints are invisible. I work with my son to do all these processes.

The raw material can be purchased in France. It is our intention to move over to France on 7 October 2017 for 6 months. We have rented a property in Perpignan and this is paid for. During this period we will look for work and look for a home we can purchase if we are able to set up a business in France that will bring in enough income to support us. We would be able to bring about 250,000 euros into the country. We could also rent a workshop or it may be possible to work from a workshop attached to our home.

Please can you tell me if it is the sort of business you could register for us and what else we would have to put in place to be able to work?
