Should I keep my auto-entrepreneur health cover or add to my husband’s?

I set up as auto-entrepreneur a year ago to teach english and have all the family covered under me with Mut’Est (I am prof libérale). It is only a few hours a month for group lessons as I use CESU for individual lessons. I am now setting up my husband as an electrician (his first work in France) and as he is a trade he will be under another regime - we have chosen Radiance as the closest. I would prefer to have the children listed under my husband’s cover and was wondering if it is a possibility for me also to be listed on his to avoid duplicate paperwork. E.g. we have to claim our complementaire by taking the sécurité social print outs to the Mutuelle as there is no direct link.

The last carte vitales took ages to come through so I would hate to rock the boat - therefore do you have any advice in terms of who should be on who’s cover? An added complication is that in my haste a year ago I managed to get an organisation the other side of France, so I wondered if it could be easily changed later to a more practical one if I have to keep my own cover.

Is it worth changing the children’s cover to be on my husband’s sécurité sociale, given that he will earn more money and his organisation is more accessible? I am I also able to be on my husband’s cover? If I have to keep my own cover is it simple to change organisations?
