Storage and basic machining service

My wife and I have escaped the rat race to live in deepest rural Brittany. Our pension income is enough to live on but we need to start a business to obtain health cover when our British cover runs out. We were hoping to store caravans/motorhomes in our large barn as a start, but my friend has suggested since I have the machines, to offer a basic service for people. That is, if anyone needs basic metalwork doing we would carry out simple basic repairs, making new small parts for broken machines etc. Would you see any problems in those activities? We haven’t approached the Marie yet, but will do so shortly regarding permissions etc.
