My wife has registered her business in France on the lautoentrepeneur.fr web site (net-enterprise). I would appreciate clarification on the following points:
- Is the registration with net-enterprise purely for the payment of social charges on a quarterly basis? I assume we don’t have to register a second time with unions de recouvrement des cotisations de sécurité sociale et d’allocations familiales (URSSAF)?
- As a result of registering with net-enterprise, is Impot informed automatically that my wife has set up as an micro-entrepreneur?
- For the payment of income tax, do we simply add her earnings in our annual declaration in May?
- Is the payment of the cotisation foncière des entreprises (CFE) tax deferred for a period of time after registering as an micro-entrepreneur?
- Are there any other charges/taxes we need to be aware of?
