I have a prospective client (consulting company). They want me to work on a four month mission in West Africa - probably more likely six months, but initial contract will be four months. The mission is to work as interim CEO which is within the scope of my société à responsabilité limitée (SARL) business registered in France. The company is based in UK - they will pay me, I will invoice on weekly basis.
- Since I am a French busness, how do I handle the tax issue?
- I assume I shall only pay tax in France?
- Most likely I will stay on for two to three weeks at a time - back here for four days - and return - not permanently there. I will be reimbursed all expenses (travel and lodging) this is more beneficial than if they arrange and provide for me - correct?
