Time limit on auto-entrepreneur

With the probability of a time limit coming into force for auto-entrepreneur, do you have any idea why they should choose to do this as I feel it is a rediculous idea. For years small businesses have been put under huge pressure financially, or put out of business because of the very poor provisional payment system for social security etc. This is such a unfair system to ask for up front payments of social security etc. based of previous years earnings, and asking for it before you have even started earning in your current year or regardless as to whether you are earning or not.

If they are going to stop businesses using the auto-entrepreneur system and move them to another regime, what do they expect to achieve by this u turn. I moved to auto-entrepreneur because I could not afford to pay up front social charges, based on old levels of income, and I find it crazy that they are now going take that away from you. I will certainly not be going back into any of the other regimes as I will be straight back into provisional charges which is totally unfair and crippling. Surely, if they are going to impose these restrictions, then there should be a system put in place that would still allow you to pay your tax and social charges as you earn, but in the other regimes.

I can see a lot of people heading back to working on the black etc., and I just can’t think of one reason why they should even consider imposing a time limit in the first place. Its like saying we are only going to let you work in France for 2 years then you have to either stop what your doing or go back onto another regime (and get hammered with provisional charges etc.). That is not giving anyone an option. I would be interested in your thoughts on the matter, if in fact you are able to offer your views on such a subject.
